Simply Luscious, also known as Veronica "Ronnie" Brazier, is a professional wrestler whose career spans the early independent boom of the 2000s through the modern Texas wrestling scene. Her work places her at a unique intersection in wrestling history, connecting the formative years of Ring of Honor with the continued growth of women’s wrestling at the regional level.

Luscious is most historically noted for her participation in the first women’s match in Ring of Honor history. On February 23, 2002, at The Era of Honor Begins, she faced Sumie Sakai, marking an early instance of women’s wrestling within a promotion that would later become central to the independent wrestling movement. Although ROH did not establish a consistent women’s division during this period, her presence on the inaugural card situates her within the foundational timeline of the company.

Beyond this match, Luscious played a notable role in early ROH storytelling as a member of The Prophecy, a faction led by Christopher Daniels. Serving as both a manager and on-screen personality, she contributed to one of the promotion’s earliest faction-driven narratives, which centered on rejecting ROH’s “Code of Honor.” Her involvement included ringside interference and appearances in promotional segments, reflecting an early example of women participating in narrative-driven roles within the promotion. She later became associated with Steve Corino's faction, further embedding her in ROH’s evolving storyline structure during its formative year.

In addition to her ROH work, Luscious appeared in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the persona “Nurse Veronica,” where she was briefly involved in faction-based storylines. These appearances occurred during a period when women’s wrestling in North America was often inconsistently represented, with limited in-ring opportunities and a heavier emphasis on character-driven segments.

A significant aspect of Luscious’s background is her training, having developed her skills through the wrestling school of Shawn Michaels, making her one of the few women associated with that training lineage during its early years. This foundation contributed to her technical understanding of wrestling despite the limited match opportunities available to women in the promotions where she appeared.

Outside of televised and early independent appearances, Luscious has remained active within the Texas wrestling scene, continuing to perform and contribute to the regional circuit. Her longevity reflects the role of independent wrestling as both a developmental system and a sustaining environment for performers whose careers extend beyond national promotions.

In more recent years, Brazier has also been recognized as an advocate for women within professional wrestling. In interviews following the broader #MeToo movement, she has spoken about issues within the industry and the importance of creating safer environments for performers, contributing to ongoing discussions about accountability and structural change in wrestling.

Historically, Simply Luscious represents an under-documented but significant thread in wrestling history. From participating in Ring of Honor’s first women’s match to contributing to early faction storytelling and continuing her work within Texas wrestling, her career reflects both the limitations placed on women in earlier eras and the persistence required to remain part of the industry’s ongoing evolution.
